if you want to clean the green coins, soak in hydro cloric acid for about 5 minutes(in a plastic bucket), move coins around once or twice. Fill bucket with water to dilute acid, dump liquid leaving coins in bucket, fill bucket with water again then dump contents into your beach scoop hose off any sand on coins. Make sure coins are dry before going through machine. Steve from Australia,

I know at the time of writing this it's 3 years old, but Merrill I really like it when you try other detectors.. Yaya deus2 is great and you love the equinox.. Merrill do you think Garrett will ever make a detector that can run with detectors like the Nox 700 & 900, Manticore or D2? Would be nice to see an once great American detector company become competitive again.

It sure would. Fisher is just as historic. I think their business has grown in to security. They are not a public company but I sense that the majority of their business is security and that is where their focus lies. Charles Garrett might be turning in his grave.

So I thought I was some really cool great detectorist because so far this year my equinox 600 and I found 15 rings and then I saw you get 108 rings and that knocked me off my high horse! However I live in upstate New York and there's farms and there's woods and not much else. So being that I found rings in the river and the local parks 15 is not bad. But man 108! That's like unheard of, I mean really, it really is.... Who the hell does that?
