We really hit the jackpot when we stumble upon a dumpsite where the German Luftwaffe left their WW2 artifacts behind foregood. Once these objects were considered trash, nowadays they can be considered WW2 treasures. Again our metal detectors did not let us down and more lessons can be learned from our past.

Incredible how much ‘trash’ is left behind after a war eds. The poceline is amazing. Also amazing how all items have their production year, division marks etc etc. They were pretty precise back in the days.

You guys really rock with these videos. I love history and archaeology and you guys finding these artifacts and relics with side information on some of your finds really adds a lot to these videos. Some things I was aware of but there's a lot I didn't know so thanks for going the extra mile to explain the stories behind the artifacts. Stay safe and I'll be eagerly waiting for your next video.

Regarding the Luftwaffe porcelain you recovered. Many years ago my uncle, a WWII veteran, gave me a very nice, like new, pristine set of cups and saucers. They are marked exactly like these you have found and dated 1938,1939 and 1940. My set is marked "Johann Haviland Bavaria" in addition to the Luftwaffe eagle and Nazi emblem. I also have some other great items including Nazi uniform emblems and badges. He told me that his unit had overrun a Nazi airfield in Italy or France(?) and when they got there the food cooking was still hot. They stopped and sat down to a hot meal, and after eating his friend collected some items and put them in a box. Later in 1945 he ended up in a US military hospital in Germany suffering from malaria he had contracted in North Africa. His friend packed the items and mailed them to my uncle's home in California. Everything arrived intact! I've been told that the 'FI. U.V.' markings on the plates indicated the branch of the Luftwaffe that supplied these items to them. Lots of interesting history here. Thank You.

Do you have a video of the artifacts after they’re cleaned up and maybe a display of them? Or what do you guys do with everything you find? I’m just curious about the beauty of the brass shells, bullets, guns and gun parts! I don’t know if they’re put on display or what! Thanks my friend, you definitely know a lot about military history and weapons! Plus you’re pretty good at pronouncing the names of them and their uses! Well the exploded rounds and you always give a good description of the finds!
