Phil is the most underated songwriter in the history of Rock. An amazing man who could hold his own in any crowd. Saw the classic lineup in 1977 in Dallas. I'll never forget standing right between Philo and Scott at base of stage. Have listened to Lizzy ever since. Thanks for posting this awesome video. Another great song that Lynott wrote.

Appreciate that, bruh! I've always thought the song was so overlooked and just the kind of song that I thought could benefit from some imagery to maybe open it up to more fans? It was one of the first vids I ever made....clueless, but was happy that I had at least tried to get it some love. Haven't seen it in years, but I know that I could do a pretty straightforward upgrade and make it really shine. Usually don't upgrade many of my videos that have managed to rank at all (such as this one! yay!), because the old ones keep getting all the views and the new ones sink to the bottom. Still....you got me thinking, man! 🤔I could definitely bring better audio for it now.

Very nice video on a very good Thin Lizzy song. Congratulations. :) Although Thin Lizzy came late in my musical background (I didn't fancy the band so much in the early 80's when a mate who was mainly into hard rock introduced me to them), but nowadays, I own quite a bunch of their stuff plus the first solo album by the late Phil Lynott and I've always preferred the albums with Snowy White (Renegade is my favourite) and also "Black Rose". I didn't know about the sad fate of this young buffalo, it's really disgusting. Yes, we had to learn from the Native Americans, some of them at least. I can't even understand now all those games about cowboys against indians that we all played, also in Europe and in my country France. The civilization is a very relative word, indeed. As always Man is dangerous to himself, not only to Nature or Mother Earth, and many atrocities have occured on both sides.

@Ork751 LOL! Right! I guess there are not that many people who know this great track or maybe they haven't found it yet. It is by far the least watched video I've yet created and I'm kinda surprised about it's relative lack of interest because it's such a great tune. I guess it's to be expected that it's not as popular as the more well known numbers by the band, but that's the really what my effort is about.....bringing interest and awareness of some great though lesser known album tracks.

Not 10 minutes ago I watched your own video for Led Zeppelin's "The Rain Song" and though I have not had time to comment on the vid (I will tonight), I'm amazed at the growth you guys have shown with your work in such a short period. More on that on your page later! The plight and tragedy of the American Indian is one that always resonated with me and I'm happy to have found my own little way to highlight it.

@RLF777 Hello and thanks for watching the video. I'm really not sure if the picture even had a name. Its been quite awhile since I made this video, but I had seen it in a couple of other videos and on various internet sites when I was searching for images. There is something very beautiful and haunting about and I'm very honored to use it to help convey the message of the song. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Thanks again for watching and for your interesting question.
