They have confirmed that they purposely used the autotune on songs that used it on the original, especially Blue and Cher's Believe. I usually don't like autotune but when it pays hommage to the original, it's perfectly fine.

If you want truly live consider their very first amazing performances as a group by checking out their journey on season three of the A capella competition show the Sing Off which they won! Everything is completely live and it gives you a glance into their early beginnings of how the group was formed and what their creative process is? It shows how they would break down the songs and rearrange them as a group to work for them and then it shows their performance! Just remember that they were very young and a not as polished? However even at their beginnings which wasn't their greatest the were incredible and you can really see them grow over the 12+ performances! There is a preperformace interview or segment, then the live performance, then the judges comments and then a small interview on how they felt they did at the very end!

I can seriously relate to your history. I was into the pop music that my family was listening to, like MJ, The Bee Gees and even Elvis, then when I was in high school, a friend of mine lent me a mix tape of all the best AC/DC songs and I was hooked into Rock, then later my cousin played the song Master Of Puppets for me, it blew my mind and I have been a metalhead ever since. Later on the same friend that introduced me to AC/DC, gave me a mix tape of the best movie score themes from John Carpenter, John Williams, Enio Morricone, James Horner, etc. and also another mix tape of the best songs from 80s electronic music from Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Synergy(Larry Fast), etc. Then not long after that I got into classical music from watching the movie Amadeus. I especially loved Metallica's S&M album with the mix of of Metal & Symphonic. Then recently I rediscovered Nightwish with their new singer Floor Jansen and that was it, best marriage of everything I love musically. I also always loved vocal harmonies which is why even though I have never been a fa of R&B, I listened to some of Destiny's Child, En Vogue & TLC, but once pop music went in Hip Hop & Rap, there was not much harmonies to listen to, until I recently discovered PTX, Home Free & Voiceplayl what wonderful harmonies and as a bonus I had never heard vocal bass voices like these.

The 90s took me from my late teens to mid 20's, these songs are so nostalgic to me...so many good memories tied to them. It wouldn't surprise me if their upgrades haven't ruined me for the originals now. Lol The only original I didn't like was Believe, it was _so_ massively overplayed at the time I developed some kind of aversion to it any time it would come on radio or at the club. PTX's small section in this medley went a long way to soothing that. I get why they chose to use the auto tune for that song, I would have loved to see what they could have done with their voices though considering what they did to Daft Punk and to Video Killed the Radio Star on the sing-off. I need them to do a full album of club mixes, it'd be awesome...how do I convince them? Lol Scott looks like he was having so much fun filming this with his diamond glasses and brown leather jacket (yet another nostalgia hit... I had a dated a guy for a very short time back when I was 16 who had one of those brown leather jackets, it looks the exact style even. He used to let me wear it if we were out and it suddenly got chilly; not only did the leather smell so good, it was also so buttery soft...I tried to steal it off him, to no avail lol.) The fashion of the early 90s was mostly questionable though.

Diana's polyphonic overtone sounding is indescribable happiness, delight and goosebumps. To perform all this with a contralto chest register, combining with a mixed and head register, ending each phrase with his own unforgettable yodeling technique, no one is able to perform songs, as Diana does.

In 2011, at the Sing Off, they were all 19 years old. Mitch was the youngest and I think Scott was the oldest, but all were at that time only 19. Don’t know how old Avi or Kevin were then.

This medley REALLY took me back. Also, I’d LOVE to see them do full songs of all of these. Lol. Great reaction!

They used the auto-tune to pay homage to Cher. Great video thanks for reacting to it.
