Papa Nihil (also known at one point as Papa Zero) plays sax on this song. Well, he “died” on stage at the end of the Prequelle tour cycle. So for the recent Impera tours, a box is wheeled on stage with his dead body in it. Then, someone electroshocks him and brings him back from the dead to play his sax solo. Pretty stoked that you’re liking that album. I was pretty nervous that you would not be as big of a fan for prequelle as you were their earlier stuff. They have lost a little of that “doom” feel but I think a lot of that is the production value skyrocketing. Maybe it just comes with the territory. I’m happy as hell you’re loving this album. Think of a Keytar as being a portable stage version of a synthesizer - you can port any voices you want to a Keytar, so if something is played in synth in the studio, it can be be played live on Keytar if want.

"Infestissumam" would be pronounced "in-fast-tea-soon-mam" with the stress on the 'soon' / "Meliora" would be "meh-lee-oh-rah" with the stress on the "oh" and a rolled 'r' like he says in "Rats". Those are their pronunciation in Latin, the language those words are from. But many people, specially in US, pronounce them with an "americanized" version, which is ok. As long as we all can understand each other, we're good haha.

I think your feedback is fair on this one. Love this track, but mostly the second half of it. The first half of the track feels like build-up that pronlonged for too long without ever really evolving properly. It eventually kicks up to a higher gear, but you feel a little stuck the first minute or two.

So let's get this straight, the keytar is just a simple midi controller with keys, it doesn't feature sounds. The actual sound comes from a synth or a sound module, connected through a midi interface to the keytar. It is just a matter of preference, you either want to play it like a guitar on a keytar, or just normally on the synth. It's the same thing. The sound you're hearing, is a proper Moog lead coming from a normal synth. Hope that answers your question.
