@@thisbubblygoodness7611 man i hope so too! i was lucky enough to go to all 6 red rocks shows (and plan to go to the upcoming 3) and across all of those sets, i think Slow Jam I was my favorite song they did. That or Boogieman Sam!

Slow Jam 1 is one of my favourite King Gizz songs. When I want a chill vibe this is my go-to.

Can’t wait for you to get around to Paper Maché, the first song gives me similar vibes to this but more stripped down, or Work This Time off of oddments

This album as you know is full of screaming and insanity. The album after this is Quaters and it was made because stew said he “wanted to make some songs where he didn’t have to yell”. Slow Jam 1 seems like it fits with that vibe so well. If you want more of this then do Quaters!

I'm with you on this one, I think slow jam is way better than am I in heaven. And live it's longer and more incredible.

Man something about this music video just makes me feel so melancholy

This song is just _so_ good. No womder it's one of their most played songs on Spotify. They do extend the song quite a bit in live versions as you might expect. The music video is really good too. Satan Speeds Up is next, which is another track I really like, but I do get the feeling it's not what you think it's going to be. The music video is really weird and goofy, I love it.

I have a whole playlist title, King Gizard & The Slow Jams with all of their chill songs. "Work this time" from the album Oddments, is number 2 on that list, the same vibe from this track.

Years ago my friend who got me into gizz asked whether I preferred Mind Fuzz or Nonagon, I said Mind Fuzz because Nonagon doesnt have any slow jams.

Now I'm super excited for you to listen to the last track! I wasn't sure how you'd vibe with this one. But her and I is one of my favorites on here. Definitely do the studio version , but the studio verse live wouldn't hurt 👀 Same goes for Satan speeds up. Honestly. I like that you're sticking with a lot of the studio versions on this album, so I just feel like listening to those the rest of the way through would be a nice cohesive experience.

Dude if your diggin this song, look forward to the album 'Changes' and some tracks on Gumboot soup! My fav jams by Gizz are the slow jam styles and the harder PDA stuff. 🤟

Slow Jam 2 is even better, you should do the studio vs live of that one, there's a Rimlicker farms version that is just awesome and is 18 minutes long, so different that the studio one

I think its multiple exposures stacked, if it were a long shutter speed there would orobably be motion blur.

I just assumed they were basically animating/playing a slideshow of a bunch of photographs rather than it being an effect on a video camera, which wins give it that janky, low FPS feel... but I could be wrong
