They were formed in the 90's and this was probably 2000, which was their first mainstream album They scream growl a lot more as they evolve as well polish the singing They have a special place because they were the 1st that I knew of that did what they did, and being all females, and being a teen... well, ya know lol Thanks again dude 🎶🎼👽🎼🎶 In Winter and Severed are some of my favorites What I Always Wanted is a popular one and all 3 of those are off of Oracle That album is dark, hard, and some of their best growling🐱👤

At the very least it is good to check them out because they got the ball rolling for female growling vocals. Next should be something with Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy and live is a must. Nemesis is their most iconic song but there is both a 2008 version with Angela and a 2016 version with Alissa. I'd tend to suggest doing We Will Rise MFVF 2010 to see Angela live and do Nemesis in 2016 to see Alissa - unless you want to see both versions of Nemesis which is legitimate - note that Alissa's ability to get really brutal with her growls has grown since then but there aren't a lot of live videos with Wacken-quality sound that are more recent. Angela stepped back for work life balance reasons but still manages AE and half a dozen other bands. In the spirit of reviewing a brief history of influential female growers I'd highly recommend checking out Otep who inspired Tatiana of Jinjer, I suspect inspired Lena of Infected Rain, and possibly also Maria Brink of In This Moment (Big Bad Wolf is a good one for ITM but while they are pretty popular their fans don't seek out YT reactions). For a live Otep video Ghostflowers from the Confrontation live DVD is great. Their most popular official video is Blood Pigs. For Infected Rain, I'd suggest Black Gold next which is newer. For Jinjer, I Speak Astronomy official is a beautiful song and video. Also, I'd suggest checking out a newer growler Melissa Bonny with her band Ad Infinitum and song Marching On Versailles. Cheers!

This video has got to be older than 2008, right? Like 1999 or 2000? I remember distinctly watching this the first time in the barracks and I got out in 2005.... Maybe I'm having some sort of Mandella Affect moment or something, but I think this video is 1999 or 2000 thereabouts.

2008 video? It's older than that. I remember this playing on M2 (MTV2) back in the late 90s. I think most of the band was 16 at the same time I was and the drummer (singers sister) was 14. So that would be around 1997 roughly.

Have you heard *The Warning* ? They are 3 sisters from Mexico whose cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman went viral in 2014 (22+ million views). They just finished recording their 3rd album and Spector will release a Signature Series bass in the name of the *16-year old* bassist. This is Dull Knives, from their Queen of the Murder Scene album, a girl’s descent into madness: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4e4dK2ned6Cmqs

First off, you are a creep for trying to copy The Real Metal Head Hippie’s name. Pick someone else’s name to copy my friend. It’s not hard! Just choose something else. I can’t believe that KZbin let’s you use his name. Peace
