You asked if anyone has seen them live, and I am guessing most people that have commented have seen them live. I am no exception, I have seen them 5 or 6 times here and around the USA. I think we are pretty lucky here right now because we get to see them in smaller, more intimate settings. I think the first time I saw them, there may have been 800 people at the show and we were about 10 ft from the stage. So we here in the states have not seen them on their big stages, but being that close to them is awesome. Plus, playing in those small clubs, they are very open and friendly with their fans....I got to meet them 3 times after shows...and they are really cool and talk to you as normal people and sign stuff and will take pics with you. But the concerts themselves are awesome...heart pounding drums to say the least....such energy they bring every single show. Definitely follow the lists people are suggestion...and when you finally get to The Poet and the Pendulum....please watch the video with subtitles....and don't do that song until you are fully invested in the band. And for that particular song, do some research on it before you listen to it....it will make the impact 10x more powerful.

The 2013 concert from start to finish, is a phenomenon. Theirs not one bad song, all are good. Don't worry you have about 4 or 5 other live concert after this one. Not going to run out of stuff to react to. Stick to live, lots better energy.

Romanticide is one of my top 5 Nightwish songs. I absolutely love Floor and Marko singing together. Yours Is An Empty Hope is another great song to react to. Its heavier and you get to hear Floor growl 💜

Welcome to the rabbit hole my man! NW army is like a family in that they know how happy the music makes them so they want to share it with others. I was not a big NW fan but my wife always was.We went to their show at house of blues in Orlando when Floor had only been with band like two weeks and holy sheeeeit what a show. She slayed it like she had been there forever and I was hooked. The whole way home that night my wife was saying “They can’t let her get away , she’s perfect for the band” and luckily the guys realized the magic they had together. Enjoy the ride bro and my wife guesses Libra because she says you have the same vibe as me..lol ✌️🤘

@@athlonen I’m pretty sure it was 15 days. We had not heard that Annette had been replaced until a couple days before the show. People were not quite connected by social media to the extent we are now. We did not know what to expect but she wasn’t just acceptable she was on point. I mean everything wasn’t as polished as when they got to Wacken but that was 9 months later which is still pretty incredible. If I find any video from the show I’ll come back and post it here. Either Taurus or Capricorn? Check out the show opener from Wacken 2013. "Dark Chest of Wonders" or if you a Pink Floyd fan, maybe Nightwish' tribute to Floyd. "High Hopes" live from 2005 with Marko taking the lead vocals. I have yet to experience the live show. Anxiously awaiting the Virtual Nightwish shows on May 28th & 29th. Please don't jump to " The Poet And The Pendulum " or " The Greatest Show On Earth " until you listen and get a feel for the band.
