Badre L It's because Immortal Technique raps about the truth and is real. Commercial rap is gimmicky and garbage because the labels want hip hop to die....He is underrated because he won't play the game with labels and become PC

Love you reaction and how much you caught the deeper meanings of the song. I never noticed till many many times of listening to the song, but I now think the gang knew it was his mom. When Billy is busting his mom’s jaw, we get the line slipped in that “Them dirty bastards knew exactly what they were doing.” At first I thought he was talking about all of the guys and the rape, but then I realized Billy did NOT know exactly what he was doing. He thought he was the initiation was rape, and only the dirty bastards knew the plan was murder. They picked the time of a “quarter to 3,” got him high and rolled by his mom’s neighborhood after she got off work. The gang thinks Billy is a punk, and he never got any payback for the snitch, so I think they set him up, and now they can rob him of his earnings in the crew and get rid of him while simultaneously getting rid of the only other person who would have cared if Billy died, his mom. I think the “gang” had this planned with lookouts and a cleanup crew. They aren’t just gonna commit a random crime with an arrogant snitch, and they aren’t going to pick a random women in case they accidentally picked up one of their own. I just think it adds another layer of sinister to the song once I realized Billy never suffered consequences for the snitch, and I’m not a coincidence theorist, so I think it’s obvious the gang knew.

This isn't a true story, immortal technique did an interview where he stated that it was sick people thought it was real,it became an urban legend. The meaning he gave was about how women are treated in the "hood" (particularly black and Latino community, but it can be applied everywhere).Basically doing crime is devalueing our family cause that's who it really effects.
