Cool reaction - I definitely like Ado's take on this classic from 2000. She has an insane variety in her voice. "Backlight" is another Ado highlight for me. Btw I'd recommend to check out Sheena Ringo's original (live) because I think it's even more impactful (sounds almost like Soul or Jazz at times).

Agreed, Sheena Ringo's version is better, but can't deny that Ado does an excellent cover. If I'm not mistaken, Sheena Ringo was involved during the recording of Ado's version.

You can check out, "Tokyo Cannibalism" by biz ft Ado. It's not a desperate song though, like, it's not angst-ish song. But Ado's giving a good expression out of this song. Like, how do i explain it tho, idk. It's a song about, modern problems i think? You have to check it out, and don't forget to turn on the subtitles 😂. Sounds like she's mocking someone, but she's not 😂

Fun fact! The original singer, Sheena Ringo, said that if Ado was around 20 years ago she would've given the song to Ado due to the fact that this cover is amazing and suits her :) The original is amazing too for something in the 2000s

You don't have to worry! This cover is absolutely marvelous! The harshness Ado has is on another level and whenever I hear it I get so many thrills around my body! It seems many people want the greatest Ado's songs from One Piece Film Red- it's a movie to anime called One Piece and Ado is a singing voice of Uta- character from this movie. There is a correct order of songs to this movie, so I suggest You react to the first song called New Genesis (there is also a live version if You want to check it out). 😉Great reaction! 😃
