Dimash is from Kazakhstan, as been training for 25 years, starting music school at age 5. He is university trained, with a Masters Degree in composition, will finish his PhD in musicology soon, has his own production Company (independent) and sells out stadiums world wide (including Barclay's in NYC in 2019). He was offered positions at several opera companies but chose his own path as a neo-classical artist. The Charismatic Voice and many vocal coaches have reacted to Dimash.

This voice is a product of nature and nurture. It was found that he had perfect pitch at the age of three, and began his music studies at the age of five. A half day with academics and a half day with music. Even to this day, he still does vocal training for 3-5 hours every day. Pattie LaBelle sang a song called "Music Is My Life". That can be applied to Dimash. He said that since the age of two, he has never wanted to do anything in life but sing, and if you were to cut open his heart, you would see music. I always love first reactions to Dimash and yours was worth watching. The funny thing is that every song he sings will continue to amaze you and leave in wonderment as to how he does it. So glad you made the decision to check Dimash out. This is only the beginning of an amazing journey to music nirvana that will leave you breathless.

You've seen NOTHING yet. Dimash is EVERYTHING. He's the ultimate singer, the ultimate performer, and the ultimate humanitarian. First, you said his name correctly the second time- Dee Mahsh, NOT like mashed potatoes. Dimash has been training since he was 5 years old( he will turn 30 on May 24th), has sung in 15 languages, speaks Russian, Kazakh(he is from Kazakhstan and VERY proud of his country) English and is learning Mandarin. This song catapulted him into stardom overnight when he was 22 in a talent show called The Singer for professional singers in China. Fellow metalhead here. I first heard Dimash sing this song a little over a year ago, and have been hooked ever since. This song is in French, and yes, he is classically trained. Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. That's exactly what I said when I discovered Dimash: WOW!!! On May 4, 2024 I witnessed Dimash's concert in Budapest... me and 11000 other people from 77 countries... IT WAS PHENOMENAL... I think from her reactions The Charismatic Voice is in love with this singer and as mind-blown and delighted as everybody else. Thank you so much for reacting to Dimash. He sings everything, pretty much all genres (although I haven't heard him do country so far!). Yes, he's classically trained. He sings R&B, pop, jazz, ethnic traditional, operatic, love ballads and rap and he frequently mixes different genres and different styles in the one song. His octave range is extensive (7.7 octaves) but as he says in interviews it doesn't matter what octaves he sings as long as the audience enjoy his performance - that's all that matters to him. If you listen to a lot of his songs you will never ever get bored. Every song is completely different. Sometimes artists sing the same kind of songs - you hear one and it's a hit, then another comes out and another, and you recognise their style every time. Their albums sort of get boring after a while. Dimash doesn't do that. Every time he opens his mouth for a performance it's a surprise. He is endlessly, superlatively creative, and not only that a lot of what he sings about has deep lyrics. He doesn't just sing, he becomes the song, he is the song, he radiates the music. The guy is special, there's no doubt about that. I recommend you listen to Stranger, Olympico, El Amor En Ti, Ikanaide, Ave Maria (vocalise). Turn on English subtitles or find a version with them on screen. You need to read and connect to the lyrics, except Ave Maria which doesn't have any - for that one I suggest not pausing at all. Just make yourself listen to the whole thing from beginning to end. Then take a few minutes out before commenting (if you can comment - some people can't). Prepare yourself for an incredible journey. And welcome to Dimashworld. Enjoy the ride ❤❤❤

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. This song, SOS is from a French rock opera called Starmania, that Dimash has used as a signature song from at least as far back as when he was 18. He is 30 in a few days. Kazakhstan on the Great Steppe is his homeland and very ethnic culture. He has not been corrupted by Hollywood, and so has genuine talent and abilities that are all real.

Dimash, from Kazakhstan, born May 1994, from a musical family. 6 ft. 3 in tall. Vocals since age 5, absolute pitch, acts, models, writes, composes, plays several instruments, won piano competitions since age 6, university degrees, & swims underwater daily. Also a wicked sense of humour. Kind, polite, respectful, lives with his whole family, sings minimum 3 hours a day. The Digital Show was done during the pandemic, produced by Dimash's own company. He'd been singing for sometime, therefore the sweating. Dimash's genre.....yes! Dimash's range.....yes!

Es verdad que no es conocido como lo esperado de acuerdo a su talento y voz, y eso es porque Dimash ha decidido mantenerse como artista independiente para poder hacer la música que él desea. Look what happens when you open your mind and you want to try something new and you're not afraid that you don't understand what the heck the artist is about, other than people wanting YOU to EXPERIENCE what they experienced. Dee MOSH. Elizabeth has done many Dimash reactions. She loves him and has nothing but positive things to say about him. He is from Kazakstan and has an extensive music education since age 5. (He'll be 30 on May 24th.) He's 6'3" and extremely charismatic. His concerts are around 3 hrs long and seem to be life changing according to his "Dears" (his affectionate name for his fans). Both parents are singers and his family home around the dinner table is filled with music, including singing and instrument playing. In addition to all this, he is a warm, caring, humble and peace-promoting person. His fans in the millions from around the world are crazy about him, and they range from babies (who are mesmerized by his voice) to oldsters, like me! Please, more Dimash (he sings every genre except Country).

DIMASH knows no genre categories, he is capable of doing Opera, rap, rock, Jazz, pop R&B anything he chooses and often does so. Prepare for a great adventure for if you continue reacting to DIMASH you will be saying "How does he do that?" quite often. He will "throw" vocals at you that you have never heard before in every song.

You have never met or I should say listened to anyone like Dimash. He is considered the best singer in the world. People will fill you in on all the things that he does, but this only is a step in the ocean of his highs and his lows. If you continue with him, you will experience the most pleasures of music that you can.

This was from a digital concert Dimash put in for us fans during covid because he couldn’t tour. Try Stranger from New Wave 2021 which is in English and very theatrical like a score for a fantasy film. But whatever you choose will be amazing. I’m off to his concert 24th may Istanbul. It is his 30th birthday, I’m from U.K. aged 79, my fifth Dimash international concert.

Elizabeth of The Charismatic Voice loves Dimash! ☺ First i want to say that people notice Dimash for his range, BUT they love him for his personality. He is down to earth and sees himself as just a regular guy. He goes home and plays football with the neighborhood kids and such, lol. This Digital Show was made for his fans during the pandemic lockdowns. He missed performing. Just pick a genre and he can do it. (Ok, maybe not country) Opera, rock, rap, r&b, pop, folk...he mixes them together to make his own genre.😄 I've heard him in Kazakh, Russian, French, English, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Turkish, Armenian, Japanese and Ukrainian. There are more but those are just the ones I've heard personally. His range is C2 to D8. (That we publically know of) He won't talk about his range, it's just a tool for him to express himself. Music is his life. His family is also musical. There is an instrument called a "Dombra" that is the national musical instrument of Kazakhs. They even have a Dombra Day. So in a way, most Kazakhs have music in their lives. ☺

@@realBlakeX I would suggest reacting to his New Wave 2021 performance of Stranger. It is the one song that comes closest to his lowest and highest notes in a singular performance. If you are familiar with a standard 88 key piano keyboard the highest note is a D7 and he has a whistle register that he has employed to hit a D8 in the past

Beautiful in and out. His live concerts are to die for.....no joke....usually 3 hours or longer. Whoever loves Dimash is called a DEAR....I think I'm the biggest fan of his ❤.....his Dears are all over the world loving him like no other. His last concert was two weeks ago in Europe....dears came from 77 countries ......can you imagine that!!!
