"Neapolitan" is pronounced like the three-flavour ice-cream; it's the language of Naples and the Campania region, which has deep musical roots. The "Arabic-sounding" influence you hear is part of Naples' heritage as a multicultural port city.

Neapolitan is spoken all over South Italy, where it isn't spoken there is Sicilian

This is neomelodic neapolitan. Most Italians do not understand the strict neapolitan dialect. The show "Gomorrah" in neapolitan dialect has Italian subtitles...However, this does not only happen with the neapolitan dialect. When I hear a veneto speaking in strict dialect, I don't understand anything (I'm neither neapolitan nor veneto)

Neomelodic ? Are you serious ? You 'Italians' call neomelodic all what's sung in our own language. Libnerato is a neomelodic singer just as Celine Dion and Adele are rock singers.

Neapolitan here. "Tu t'e scurdat' 'e me" means "You forgot me", the song tells the story of a person who was forgotten by their past lover, who moved on. It is a very bitter-sweet song, also I like that the singer names a lot of famous neapolitan places. It's safe to say it's my favourite song by Liberato

Hi Mad Ang, it's not studio magic, it's Neapolitan dialect. They do speak like that and it's quite different from Italian, if not almost impossible to understand if you don't know the dialect.

This is Neapolitan language, not a dialect, but a language spoken in the south of Italy together with Sicilian, Griko and Arbereshe

It's cool to see someone seeing this for the first time! About the titles, someone else already explained the first one, but the second song's title, "INTOSTREET" is kind of a play-on-words of the Neapolitan words, «Int'ô stritto» (as they sound similar), the main chorus line of the song («Pecché m'hê miso int'ô stritto?») means something along the lines of, "Why've you cornered me?/put me in a corner?". But my favorite line from INTOSTREET has to be: Stu vaso è na canzona pe te fà turnà --- This kiss is a song to make you return
