That's right! Dr Colossus is a Springfieldian Doom Rock/Metal band from Australia. The band's music is themed around The Simpsons with references at every corner. Hammerfall have a lot Game of Thrones references and Blind Guardian have a lot Lord of the ring based stuff ;3 It's not the same level as Dr Colossus, but I wanted to mention it ^^

@@MetalMass Sure! HammerFalls' whole "Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken" Album is GoT themed. Blind Guardian *literally* have a song called The Lord of the Rings, I am sure it's referenced 100 times more, but I'm not big on LOTR so it probably escaped me ^^'

Ya gotta check out Hevisaurus. It's a Finnish heavy metal band aimed at kids. Weirdest but one of the most epic bands I've come across.
