Whoever thumbed this one down, it's not a stupid question. The Seattle show from August 89 was included in Live Shit. There were three included: Seattle 89, San Diego from early 92, and Mexico City from 93.

Chilling moment when crowd sings word for word unprovoked.I was at this concert with Ray my best concert going friend.Spectrum was the best concert venue in Philly . This is when music meant everything to Metallica.This was also the last time it would.

@Metallijazza I used to play Guitar Hero nonstop. It was the only game I played. I thought I was so badass at it. I was introduced to Metallica and other great bands by it. Now I play guitar, and I consider myself pretty good for only playing a year. If it introduces them, it's good!

@nbcviper Indeed he had an awesome voice. But they were on tour 3 years after releasing the Black Album. That was enough for Jame's voice, after that they started to tune the guitars 1/2 tone down and even more (Saint Anger was recorded in Drop C). It's a pity, but wer're lucky for having this videos...

I'm 35. I think I was at this concert, if this is the one that officially banned them from ever playing at the Spectrum. I remember someone had a blowtorch in the crowd, too. I think this was about 20 years ago.

i play guitar (real :D ) for about 3 years and I think that guitar hero is awseome! Its really nice yo play it with friends. But its sad how many people think that if they play guitar hero, they will know how to play real guitar. Its not that easy. Plus, i dont know why my friends think that its stupid that i play guitar hero, and i know how to play a real guitar. The fact that i know how to play a real guitar doesnt have to do anything with me playing guitar, its a really nice video game.

i think a demon entered his voice in 88. if anyone has listened to his voice not a year earlier, it still sounds like he just recorded MOP... voice is still high-pitched and growls and such. in 88, it suddenly got a hell of a lot deeper. not sure anyone could ever say he had a bad voice.
