@ItayROFL From the videos I've seen of them playing back in the 80's, after Cliff died they seem to play at rediculous speeds. James said on an interview it was to test each other, especially Jason. I don't know why they would play faster but it was just an observation. Never the less, it sounds fucking awesome!

@R3N1GM4 Agree with you, sir. I said that if any other band had done the album, it would have been good. However, I do think some songs just have riffs and lyrics which suck, such as "Invisible Kid", which I would have hated from any band... However, I do consider Frantic, Some Kind of Monster (The edited version), and the Unnamed Feeling (Without James' EMO wailing) to be very, very good, even coming from Metallica. To me, the "Fran-tick-tick-...tock" line was lyrical/poetic Gold...

@tuzito31895 The reason everyone hates St. Anger is cause they went way out of their comfort zone. James was fucked up, and his lyrics suffered a bit. Lars took the coils off his snare, and everybody bumped down to Dropped C. If any other no-name band did that album, it would've done much better... but with Metallica's name on it people go in with huge expectations, it's no wonder it disappointed so many people. But it doesn't make it a bad album, just much different.
