I cant decide who my favourite band is between Metallica, Megadeth and Death, but when I watch Metallica live back in their thrash days its hard not to pick them

One of the reason I liked 'Puppets-era Metallica is that they were big fans of Danzig (which was still "Samhain" back in those days). You can tell by the black clothes, t-shirts and wrist bands that James and the rest of the band are wearing. It would've been one hell of a gig to see Samhain open for and tour with Metallica!! \../ \../

“What puzzles me (about Metallica) is that they’ve neglected to use a lot of Kirk’s better old riffs, settling instead for some so-so riffs. I think some of his other riffs, like those off of ‘Impaler’ are better than anything they’ve used on Ride The Lightning."

Cliff died September of 1986 when I was a. Freshman in high school. I’ll never forget moping around for weeks in school afterwards. That was what catapulted my obsession with collecting rare Metallica albums back then. I’ve still got them Stashed away somewhere (colored vinyl Creeping Death & Jump in the fire EPs, picture discs, double vinyl albums, bootleg concerts on album and cassette, 7inch 45s, demo recordings etc) . Once they hit the mainstream and started becoming popular (pretty much after AJFA) , I kinda lost interest, but like to reminisce once in a while .

The whole band was better in the 80's. Lars is a shadow of himself. He plays lazy now. James, is still an amazing player, but his voice is shot. Kirk "wah pedal" Hammett. Put that thing away already. Rob's great, but I just lost interest once the black album came out. Not the same band that wrote the first 4 albums. That's for sure.
@Bstonz857 жыл бұрын
craig madeiros well, let’s see. Those first 4 albums they weren’t 50 years old.
