A friend of mine passed away back in the year 2000. He always said "when I die, play this song at my funeral." Sure enough, we showed up with a boombox, and played the song for him. Not a dry eye in the house. Metallica is arguably the most important band of the 20th century. Rest in Peace, Spivey.

It’s because you can hear the guitar harmony much easier live, or you can hear both Kirk and James at the same time better, in the recording you have to listen really hard to hear that harmony separately

This performance is more tighter than seattle one .not sure why, may be the audio production was done better on this
@mattdad84292 жыл бұрын
I think this one had a better, more prominent low-end bass sound. Seattle was kinda geared more towards that high gain guitar and drums, and left the bass behind a tad.

Kirk Hammett simply destroys the song with the wah wah wanking at the end. It sounds horrible.
Josh Tate the wah made it horrible? your fucking stupid dude the wah is what makes his solos work, and name one song by metallica where the main solo doesnt have wah... lol metallica solos are all wah pedal so yeah idk what makes you think the wah destoys the song when the last 3 minutes of it are wah pedaled solos and hes obviously no yngwie malmsteen -_- but hes in the biggest metal band of all time... not much else to say except that the wah is used in most songs by the most famous metal band ever and your bashing their guitarist lol take a seat guys
@spikezkid0229 жыл бұрын
justin g This solo does contain a wah, but the way kirk played it live is.... not too satisfying to the fans...
@WickedAlan19 жыл бұрын
spikezkid022 just because it didnt satisfy you then you're assuming it didnt satisfy everyone? lmao
