These dudes are in their 6os and still rocking just as hard…it’s incredible…I saw them here in Baltimore 2016…3 hrs of straight perfection

None of them are 60 yet. Kirk and James are 59, Lars is 58, Robert is 57. But yes, I understand your point

Kirk Hammett!!! Pretty sure you will remember the name of Metallica’s lead guitarist as many of those heavenly guitar licks and solos you hear are thanks to this man. ‘Nothing Else Matters’ and you will have done the trio of big ballad songs. Great live bands rule... awesome reaction Rory!

Solo from "Nothing Else Matters" belongs to James Hetfield, their singer and rhythm guitarist

Metallica “enter sandman” & “creeping death” live in Moscow91 will top that. Seattle 89 is top notch too though

This is the real Lars. If you cannot feel Lars groove and feel in this performance then people shouldn’t be judging lars at all. He was a beast back then not anymore now he really is sad now. But the fills he does in this performance have so much feel and groove. His kit sounds fcn tough too.

Agreed. Pay careful attention to Hetfield’s eyes. I used to watch this over and over on VHS after my divorce. I’d literally just lie on mi mattress on the floor with my bottle of cheap blended Scotch and the coffee I’d mix it in, popping Xanax and Adderall and watching this concert over and over, grinning every time I’d see the brilliant rage in James’s eyes during ‘Thingy’, and knowing it was the same furious look I took on when I spat venom and vituperation at any fucker what looked at me wrong, passing on the street. That was 21 years back, so my mental health’s improved a bit, but I still have weird bittersweet memories of those times. I fuckin hated everything at the time, and mostly wished I were dead, but compared to the utterly dull, affectless, crippled, emotionless potato-person I’ve become in middle age, I look back and think, ‘Yeah, them times were shite, but I was fuckin legendary.’ That’s just how it is.
