I saw this concert in '92 at Hershey Park Stadium. I swear Metallica killed it for like 3.5 hours waiting for Axle to sober up enough to play. Concert went until about 2am. Hershey Park shut down concerts for a few years after that concert. It was Epic

Summer before my high school senior year, saw this concert in Detroit at the Pontiac Silver dome. They opened the parking lot at noon and the parking lot party was insane.

Thank you so much. There is some footage in here about this tour that I have not seen before. If there were any concets that I would go back to see again if there was a time machine available, the October 3, 1992 Pasadena Rose Bowl show would definitely be one of the top three of my choices.

I was there man, worked event staff for that show and the LA Sports Arena show as part of a college work assignment. Those were my first 2 concerts that I had been to. Even though I was “working”, I had a blast. Ended up backstage at the Pasadena show and remember downing a few beers and just walking around. Ended up meeting Lemy from Motörhead and Eazy E later on that night. Great memories!

I reckon at the start they were downplaying what they thought of GNR to keep the peace...cos you know what Axl Rose was like back then...troublemaker

😠👎 God, I hated Riki Rachtman! Jim Martin didn't seem thrilled to be interviewed by him here either. He has always struck me as an arrogant, backstabbing, fair-weather friend, and a d-bag. He's the type of person who has no personal principles, who'll jump on whatever bandwagon seems most popular at any given moment, out of sheer convenience.

Dude was just a reporter he had to have a pokerface the whole time. That's part of his job. If he shared his opinion on some band or some people he would've gotten into trouble.
