Metallica- James Hetfield Clean live tones AXE FX III + (testing high gain tones IIC++& Diezel VH4

Sorry for my clumsy playing I was tired that was recorded around 3:00AM. I’m not the best guitar player in the world and was just bored and tried to dial in one of the most popular guitar tones and personally my favorite but it actually only took me 10 mins for all the high gain tones so there’s still a lot of work to be done.
In this video intended to show as brief as I could the guitar tones and multiple effects used by James Hetfield live in front on thousands of people recreating his live rig with the AXE FXIII and his signatures pickups on my ESP Eclipse. Didn’t really intend to show how he plays the riffs 100%. The sound still needs a lot of tweaking specially with the distortion. The clean settings are inspired on Jame’s actual clean back in 1999-2002. I now gotta try to recreate the new chorus settings he uses live which don’t really sound like he has a lot going on in that block... @@oyc7946 he doesn’t use an axe fx. He uses his Mesa Mark V or Marshall DSL with a sm57 into a 1x12 recto.

Mitch he uses axe fx live with 2 diff amps in axe fx blended together, diezel vh4 and mark IIC+

I hope one day they allow dual amps on the FM3. I’d sell my FM3 and IIXL+ for a III, but my IIXL+ has a large package of the most accurate Metallica presets I’ve ever heard to date. It covers every album, and almost all songs on every album, including live tones. Until someone recreates a preset package that great on the Axe Fx III, I won’t see myself getting rid of it.

I think only clean tone matched. Not with distortion. İ am sure you can reach the original distortion too. But with this dist is not james dist tone. similar but not much like your clean tone. İts amazing match

the eclipse isn't even extremely pricey either, i should save up and get one, where i live they're 300euro but you can sometimes find a good guitar in a thrift store, i found a walden d550 for 50euro , you can't get them here in europe so if you were to buy one abroad + tax + shipping it would be over 500 dollars
