Well, to be fair, he did write and record all of the solos, so even if and when he forgets, he can always go back to the recording. It's honestly a lot easier than learning someone else's solo from scratch, because those are your own mannerisms and playing patterns.

Evan Hooper nah the four horsemen was changed The way it begins is the same but is different You can tell, Kirk solos have more of a flow to them since he plays the same scale while Dave just plays whatever and tremolo picks real fast

One of my favorite Metallica songs. One of the first riffs I taught myself and it’s a great one to warm up with and for getting acclimated to that kind of hand motion. It goes up and down the fretboard changing strings, it’s simple picking and it covers a lot of frets in a nice motion

Liam Stamos well back then he used A LOT of compression and if you dont know how to use it properly then it will permanently hurt your voice. Thats what happened after the Justice album bc he just went all out and it sounds awesome on the album but it cost him his raspy, aggressive voice sadly.
