I just love the energy they have again. They seem to really be enjoying themselves and smiling and just really giving it everything. I love the no repeat shows, it helps to change it up and this was an OUTSTANDING performance

I was there at both nights in Donington, on the second night being Saturday, I waited 11 hours on the hottest day of the week at the front line by the barrier, and got an opportunity to be in a group picture with lars ulrich that’s on their website for that show, i am officially a part of Metallica history.

5:18 Actually, these are just 16th notes (RLRL,Snare) not triplets. Props to the sound guys, Lars' drums sound amazing. Also loved that Hetfield pretended to burp @ 6:39 like in the studio version.

its actually a peak of their live performance qualities. Last time they were this good, tight and energetic was in the early 90s on the "Wherever I May Roam" Tour. Mindblowing.
