Back in the day, Megadeth and Metallica could co-exist, at least to metal heads. It was us against the world. It was Metal against New Kids On the Block and shit like that. It wasn't a metal band against a metal band, especially two that are so important to the history of Metal, or so influencial. If one of these bands "sucked", they wouldn't be around after 25 years, still making great music, still selling out concerts. This isn't what shitty bands do, so they must both be doing something right

I think you are the crazy one dude, are you 15? When metal was huge in the 80's-90's, us metalheads never had this faux war between these two bands. My friends and I bought guitars because of these two bands, and basically played Megadeth and Metallica songs constantly. Why? Because they both are great. You are crazy to even compare them, they are two different bands, they may come from the same fabric, but they are so different. To say one doesn't touch the other, man you are so dead wrong!!!

If you try to put yourself in Dave's shoes, you will see how hard he has had it. Being teased, because he was kicked out of Metallica, and now they are HUGE. Besides AJFA, which in my opinion is their best album, every other album is under the influence of Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton. The whole style of Kill Em All is also the Style of early Megadeth, because Dave had alot to do with that. Cliff continued to influence the sound until he died, hence MOP being so great, but after AJFA, that's where it ends. The Black album is a commercial success, but a Metal failure and from there Metallica took 15 years to get back to playing metal.

well this concert is from seatlle on 1/12. its not from berlin on 12/9. you can understand it fromt james haircut. on 12/9 his hair were shorter..still an awesome concert though :D

Creeping Death was NOT an Exodus song....Kirk brought the chorus from a song that Exodus never recorded , "Die By His Hand" and Metallica used it in the "Die by my hand" section of the song....the remainder was all original...Kill Em' All aside, You have to be CRAZY if you think anything Megadeth has come out with can even touch anything off RTL, MOP, AJFA...Hell, even most of the Black album!

3 songs of Kill em all were from co-written with mustaine. and he didnt record nothing with metallica; exodus didnt create creeping death, and Kirk was at Exodus so no difference.... The black album was not commercial shit as many people think only because it is a multi platinum album, it was a music-style change by the band, load and reload i agree with you, but fuel and king nothing are great exceptions, St anger was the only true shit by metallica, the new album is great, the band rocks live

And record sale numbers don't tell you how good band it is. Is Nickelback a better musician for selling more albums than Mastodon? Hell no. It's more about how commercial music they make and how listenable it is for majority of people. And I'm not here to whine about how Metallica "sold out" or that Metallica sucks. Metallica wipes it's ass with 99% of all other bands on earth.
