It's cool seeing them play load stuff in 95 with 3 of the 4 still had long hair because I always associated this album with their short hair so yea thought that was cool lol. I was 13 when load came out I liked it I was a fan before it and after it and every since. Is it puppets or justice? No but that doesn't mean it's bad I love load. Great album.

So I thought Lars killed it on 2x4 and came here to say so. Then I went back and watched Until It Sleeps and got angry when Lars repeatedly murdered the tempo causing the whole symphony to have to rush to catch up every chorus. Ya gotta love Lars. Truly.

Because it’s a radio rock album. No epic 8 1/2 minute songs. No risks musically or otherwise. Master of Puppets is everything that load isn’t. And when it came out you either knew or you didn’t. Such a great time!

With Metallica slowing down the pacing of their touring (which is logical considering they're reach their 60's and can't play as much as they used to like when they were 30) and with Metallica now strictly restricting their shows to 16 songs and not a single one more (which is far less understandable considering they have risen their live show prices while playing less songs per show than they used to, when they actually have more time to rehearse between two shows) I think it's getting nearly impossible to ever hear one of those songs ever again (or just hearing it a single time in some cases) while they have so many mandatory songs (MoP, Nothing Else Matters, Enter Sandman, One, Creeping Death, FWTBT, etc...) to play in such a narrow set. PS: The following songs can be soon added to this list: -Some Kind of Monster (If not played before August 27 2024) -Sweet Amber (If not played before September 9, 2024)

Very well done. I like how you didn’t add escape since James hated it and was never planning on playing it live ever even though they did 😂. Also the clean intro and outro for to live is to die has never been played live sadly. I also would not count some kind ot monster being played live in its entirety because they shortened the live version. Lastly all within my hands I would not count either because of the shorten version and just different rhythm in it’s entirety the times they have played it live acoustically. @@MicajahVickers2002 As i said, I just kept the list to the songs that haven't been played in 20 years or more, otherwise it would be almost half of their discography I would have had to list. Some Kind of Monster is now a song (actually since today) that hasn't been played for over 20 years, and if they don't play Sweet Amber this weekend in Seattle (which has a 99,9% of not happening), it will also be part of this list since their next show is by the end of september. And also take in account that the number of songs they perform each night has passed from 16 to 15, with no explanations. Ten years ago it wasn't rare at all to have a 20-22 song set, 18 was the minimal you could expect, I found 16 quite short, and now it's 15. Which leaves basically only room for 20 classic songs, and for a couple of songs of the latest album. We'll never get the +20 year long songs played again, and I'm starting to think it's also over for all the songs they haven't played in the last ten years.

The only critic I make to this album is how's Until it Sleeps was the first single?! When grunge was still pumping and alternative rock (e.g. Smashing Pumpkins) and punk (e.g. Green Day) kicking ass, Metallica reinvented their sound but kept their style.
