Every time a Metallica show is about to start, mostly when the well-known AC/DC tune is being played and the members of the band head to the stage, they are always smiling and also seem to be happy, enthusiast and energetic, but I have always criticized the fact that James smokes too much. A month ago, I remember having read on Facebook that Lars wanted Metallica to work for ten more years, but in my opinion, that will only be possible if the members of the band assume the principle of taking care of their health conditions seriously. And James is the one who should think about it more than the rest of his colleagues, because if he continues smoking that way, the consequences won't be favorable for him, and that might bring about all kinds of mishaps which will indeed affect the band's future.
