Yeah, how dare she not like some suburban angst music from the late 80s... There are some pieces of music that are more or less eternal (Bach, The Beatles, Miles Davis, Hendrix, Rolling Stones, James Brown, etc). There there are some quite niche stuff, for quite specific periods in one's life (it's another matter that some people never grow out of them). Metallica are the latter...
