Metallica is an amazing band. Them playing with the symphony orchestra is amazing. I saw them live a along long time ago with the orchestra at MSG in NY. Might want to check those videos out. Great video content both of you. Have an amazing day.

James has one of the greatest super villain laughs I've ever heard.😂
@williamthompson1109 Жыл бұрын
Greatest part about the riffs is that they mimic the songs true point: drugs and substance abuse. The riffs are super fast and frantic, like a junkie needing a fix, to soft and melodic, that’s the junkie high and happy, before going right back to super frantic as soon as the high wears off. It’s fucking amazing

This song is one of the hardest heavy metal songs to play because james only down picks in it and most people cant play ot that way. That is why james "papa" hetfield is called the king of down picking

Thanks for your reaction. sorry for being late, I just discovered your channel--more Metallica: try Master of puppets live from the Québec Magnetic show--great interaction with the crowd, For whom the bell tolls (Day on the Green-1985) to watch deceased bassist Cliff Burton amazing intro, or for a piece of Metal history: The Big 4, Am I evil, with Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax & Slayer all together sharing the same stage. Have a nice day, both of you.

Peeps need to get off Lars! Classic parts for what...40 something years now! Whatch'ya want from the guy? I'm sure if you asked James, Would Metallica function without Lars he would probably say no way in hell. Lars does not get enough props. Dude is a freak. He us the business while James is the man.

Master of Puppets was written by their late, lamented original bass player Cliff Burton ... about his drug addiction issues. Playing this at the end of each concert is their homage to Cliff.

@@JuventinosThat's what I was told back in '92'. if I'm incorrect, then thanks for the heads up.
@cooperlittlehales6268 Жыл бұрын
@@xorrynhexblade9486 Cliff didn't write it, it was written by James, Kirk, and Lars. He didn't have a drug addiction, James had a drinking problem and related that problem to drugs to form the basis of this song. And it's not an homage to Cliff, it's just their most famous song and one of the most influencial metal songs of all time. If they were really paying homage to Cliff, the would play Orion or To Live Is To Die, the latter literally being an homage to Cliff. Sorry if this came off as confrontational, just trying to state the facts.
