Cliff Burton, (RIP) Their original Bassist was a phenomenal Bassist, Writer and Musician!

Metallica has a few legendary instrumentals including this one. Also check out 'The Call of Ktulu' and 'To Live is to Die' for more instrumental greatness.

Coming from a huge rap fan, an unreal song by Metallica is “one”. The instrumentation starts you off at a low then rises you to a fucking crazy upbeat section. Also the subject matter is insane if you look into the lyrics after reacting to the song. The music video has movie clips that look random but in reality the song follows the movies story. It’s a massive song and will bring views too.

My theory on Why songs don't have long intros now: When you listen to rap / hip-hop you are listening to a master of his craft so you want to go right into showing his or her skill. With older Songs Like This you are listening to multiple masters of their craft. One on guitar, one on bass, one on drums, and on any other instrument. So you want to give all of them a time in the spotlight. And we have shorter attention spans.

Favorite Metallica song is easy, Disposable Heroes. No bar spitting per se. Instead the fast pace and brutal punch to your gut lyrics work well together. Music and lyrics coming together, as so often in metal, to paint a brutal picture of a soldier's worth to those in charge.

Great instrumental here. That middle part has an amazing vibe for sure. "The Call of Ktulu" is another one from Metallica definitely worth checking out.

It’s an instrumental and it’s one of the greatest songs Metallica ever created. Music doesn’t always need lyrics.

I am so appreciative of your open mind, and the fact that you recognize different parts (musically) of a song. There were definitely three distinct parts to Orion and unfortunately, I hadn't noticed that until you paused the video at just the right moments. I LOVE watching you get into the emotions of the music, no mater the genre. I can tell you are genuinely enjoying it when you do - and I know that my face looks just like that when I listen to Metallica. haha. I love your videos.

Do some research on the meaning behind this song. A musician as yourself would really appreciate it .. The bass is the meaning of this classic. A live version would blow your mind. Enjoy your reactions 🤟🤟 more Metallica!!!

Check out “Flying Whales” by Gojira - it’s a great long intro song that I think is amazing. As for Metallica songs, I think “Master of Puppets” is a must, find a good live version of “Creeping Death,” and not many reactors check out “All Nightmare Long.”

I'm as confused as he is, that someone would request an instrumental to someone only accustom to Rap/Hip Hop, especially without notice, since notice he considers vocals the song.

LOL-sry no one mentioned it was an instrumental track-you talking about being patient for the lyrics was some humorous irony. And the album was written before smart phones & TikTok, so our attention spans were maybe not as deficient😉
