JazzMan how about his version of the immigrant song with infectious grooves? I think I like it better than zeppelin's. He also covers David bowie's Fame real good too. He's got an awesome hybrid approach to his craft. With that galloping and plucking and some thumb slapping he plays with authority. I wasn't glad to see newsted go. But I was happy af to see his replacement. I've been enjoying his music since his suicidal tendencies days.

+JazzMan, I hate to say it, I really do, but Rob is a way better Bass player than Jason. But to give credit where credit is due, Rob has nothing on Jason in terms of vocals, no one can sing "MOTHER FUCKER DIE" better than Jason (not even James).

Yea Rob's been sounding pretty good recently although he needs to work on his aggressive vocals more they still dont sound too great I don't think.
@ThatCoolNerd1
@ThatCoolNerd1 6 жыл бұрын
His aggressive vocals are great as backing vocals, Metallica uploaded a recent performance of Through The Never and he sounded great. His aggressive vocals aren't quite good enough for a lead role yet in my opinion. He's improving really fast, though, so maybe that will change.

Yea he sounds great on though the never and when he is backing James but then on Spit out the Bone when he takes every second line of the verses he doesn't sound great but its getting there.

I'm an old school metal head and I get a kick out of some of these comments! for example criticism of Kirk Hammett in general....worst of the Big 4? Wow! I was lucky enough to be 16 when Master of Puppets came out and I've always thought he is one of the best heavy metal guitarists regardless of genre... I find it sad he has not released solo material all these years

No, I meant exactly what I said. "I'd" is a contraction for, "I would"; therefore, "I would never tell Robert Trujillo to his face that I hate his bass sound." I most certainly COULD tell Robert to his face that I don't like his bass sound, but I WOULD never tell him because I don't want him to kick my lily white ass. Now, do you understand? KZbin is an endless source of idiots.
