The guitar tone on this album is killer. So heavy!

24:05 I wouldn't think so. A song so clearly about suicide wouldn't have much chance being played that much on the radio, especially in 1984. 31:50 This song, on the other hand, was apparently the result of pressure from the record company to write something more "easily digestible". Accounts vary a bit , though, so who knows what the story is. The band hates it with a passtion. They never played it live until 2012 (the result of a poll), and even then you could see the disgust James felt having to play it. It's the one and only time it has been performed.

This is my 3rd favorite Metallica album! After the self-titled album and Reload! 🔥 Fun Fact: Some scenes in Fargo were filmed in the soundstage at Paisley Park. Along with A Few Good Men and Drop Dead Fred. 😂 I know you didn’t ask, and that was only semi-related to this video. But you know I gotta throw in a Prince plug. 😂😂🤷🏻♀️💜

I always thought the beginning of fight fire with fire was a 12 string guitar 🎸. I was taught to play that on one. Never thought or heard about the harpsichord until now thanks for sharing. My complaint about this album is I wish the lead guitar 🎸 the solos were louder in the mix. I know it’s from 84, but album before kill ‘em all seemed way more louder with the guitar then this one. Then you get to and justice and since Lars had a huge impact on the recording it was all about the booming of the drum kit, and the guitars where you can start to hear the effects of that on the recording with noises from them being to much

For other rock and metal band catalogues, you should listen to Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Rush, Nine Inch Nails, and Pantera. All have amazing albums, and all should bring in fans watching your reactions.

The only thing I'll say as a Metal-er (NOT a 'metalhead') is that you're completely WRONG with your statement about Dave Mustain and Megadeth 'ripping off' Metallica with the song 'Mechanix. Dave Mustain was still part of Metallica when the song ''Four Horsemen' was written, and Dave Mustain co-wrote the song. THAT is why Dave Mustain was able use MOST of the guitar-sounds/tempos/Rythms of the 'Four Horsemen' in 'Mechanix, simply because Dave helped write the song in the FIRST place. Of course, being a Metal-er who first heard Heavy Metal in the mid-80's when I was in Junior High, I honestly don't blame the Yutes nowadays who call themselves 'metalheads' for thinking that Dave Mustain and Megadeth "ripped off" Metallica, simply because those Yutes weren't even born yet when this song came out.
