my mom plays oboe in the SF symphony and she did both snms. I was 5 when this came out and this is the first thing she showed me because she loved playing it. been a metal head ever since

Great song and all but let's be honest - Michael Kamen is the real hero here. What he did with those orchestral arrangements wasn't bested ever since. Both metal and symphonic parts have equal roles and compliment each other flawlessly.

This record came out right before I started HS. I was a baseball player and Metallica and huge Pantera and Sabbath fan. I immediately started singing the "let's dance" part into the slow, heavy riff in my head when I stepped into the box. The lyrics arent that groundbreaking, but i was able to apply a couple lines to keeping my confidence up. that's half of all you got to do as a hitter. the other half is keeping your balance and putting the sweetspot on good pitches to hit. Not swinging at anything else is good, and if you take Every ball you're always on base.
