You always give the best lessons out of anybody on youtube. Kudos to you. A lot of people can play but few know how to teach. Could you do a lesson on the intro to Blackend from Metallica. Every lesson on youtube covering it sucks.

Thanks for the videos man... I was trying to learn this song, but my tab book wasn't showing all of the riffs and the other stuff that I started having trouble with was made much clearer seeing someone actually play it... I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to learning a lot more cool stuff. I played when I was a kid but after 20 years I find myself re-learning a lot of the basics like alternate picking and stuff like that. Learning this song has boosted my confidence and has me very excited to learn more, Thanx again man!!!

It also made me stop and think back to when I was a kid and would rent the Metallica Cliff Em All vhs to try to pick up bits and pieces of how Kirk played, the internet has definitely opened a lot of new doors for people wanting to learn new songs without spending a fortune on tab books.

As a guy who has only been playing seriously or semi seriously for the last 8 months or so and absolutely swears by Jackson Guitars, I have the entry-level js22 dinky and I love it. However I love that Jackson you have especially that Floyd Rose nut. Not a fan of the tremolo system but wanted to know what type of Jackson Model are you playing there? I love that Jackson guitar you have

Jackson DX10D Dinky Reverse- only know that because it’s the same guitar I have.

@sonofthefaceless9 жыл бұрын
Awesome dude. Metallica was my shit for like 2 years. Just started playing guitar. Anyway you could do a short song by Between the Buried and Me; its called Goodbye to Everything. Its a 2 minute acoustic song, haven't seen much acoustic stuff yet on the page but i think you would enjoy the song. Check it out there guitarists are insane, think you might appreciate it since you seem like a Metallica fan, they do a cover of blackened with a sick solo.

If you want the real solo part, ask for the solo to "Princess Of The Night" by Saxon (1981). Love old Metallica, but... DAMN, Really? (Kill ‘Em All was 1983).
