Alright KTF, a Metallica song that I would recommend is "Wecome Home (Sanitarium)" It has a couple cool transitions, killer riffs, but my favorite aspect is the emotion changes in the song with both Hetfield's voice and the music...It starts calm and before you know it, we have full-on-anger

Never, I repeat, NEVER, have I been blown away like I was by this album the first time I listened to it. I still remember it. The first time my mom gave me a bunch of CD's for a late 90's Christmas (she gave me this plus a Blur and a Kiss CD I never cared too much about). And the moment Hit the Lights started sounding in the speakers, I knew I was about to hear something special. I love Metallica all the way through the 80's, by no album has ever blown my mind like this.

Nice! You actually got a guitar. Rock on! One of the things you continue to compliment them on is how they change up a song. That was always one of my favorite things about them. They have songs within songs. Plus, all their songs are like 8-10 minutes long. You put pride in your music when all your songs are that long and complex.

Hey man watching your videos is so cool it cracks me up I felt the same way about these songs it inspired me to pick up a guitar but this was in 1983 when this album came out and it honestly changed my life I was 13 years old then and changing from a kid who always played sports to starting the teenage bad habits smoking weed drinking etc and these songs to my 13 year old self were fucking incredible me and my friends all fell in love with these guys in real time and was an amazing experience these guys were my piers and here they are us growing up in the same era with the same music influences and these guys are taking it to the next level and I felt it so hard I no all these early albums and have seen them in New York and Philadelphia plenty of times in the mid 80,s and it was on fire the energy etc glad to have loved these guys b4 they were known and then when got huge and everyone finally caught up it was so cool too anyway u brought back a lot of memories i remember getting the same feelings you get from it back then glad to see u giving the legendary band the respect they deserve

I went to the Metallica concert back in 84 in San Diego and I went outside to get some weed and when I looked back at the sport arena the whole thing was moving to the music. It was awesome.

When I was like 13-14 learning to play guitar, this was the first book of music I bought, this album, and I learned every song. This song and Whiplash were my favorite.
