I attended this gig. Went down with a pocket full of cash and no money in my bank account only to find out that it was card only !! Feck. I was in line to get onto the pitch and I was stood in front of a group who's conversation I could hear. I chimed in with a comment and we started talking. They were a group comprised of 5 South Africans and we joined up and kept on talking after we had gotten in. They decided to head off for a drink before Metallica came on and I told them of my plight so they offered to get my drinks for me. We headed off, got the drinks, I paid them in cash and we enjoyed the night together. To this day, I wish to thank them for their company and for helping me out. I can only hope they read posts like this. On top of that, I was staying at my cousins for the night. He enjoyed the gig from his house which was about 500yds away from the stadium. On my way back, I got a bit lost but he had taken his dog for a walk and found me so I could get back. All in all, the best Metallica gig I ever went to of the 25 or 26 times I have seen them.
