@@normanosborn1277 I am not a true metalhead. I more familiar to pop music, dance, alt & indie rock. (esp Shoegaze, Britpop, Dream pop, Pop punk, Grunge, and Garage Rock). To be honest I even dislike Metallica before St. Anger. Frantic made me intrigued to listen more. Then I listen the full album and surprised, how can I dislike such a great music. It's different from Metallica I used to know. I like modern Metallica (post 2000). Death Magnetic is at 2nd place after St. Anger.

Thanks to the algorithm bringing this my way. I’ve always felt this was a more hardcore inspired album, he’ll last even said he had been listening to hatebreed at what point in the some kind of monster documentary. There’s another guy who’s recently redone the whole album on here (called it st. [b]angers) and between that and your takes on it, it shows that actually there’s fucking great riffs and is totally a hardcore album. At points I even feel that it’s Hatfield’s vocals letting the side down on some songs. I’ve always add libbed my own screams if I’ve had it on in the car. 😂 I’m 37 and picked the album up the day it came out. Always liked it, always defended it. Nice one. I’ll be adding these tracks on Amazon music to my st. Anger remix plays.
