I've just finished watching this video and I'm completely astonished. This song has really a unique atmosphere on it, so different from the other instrumentals they did... and it's not easy to find a decent cover on YT either. But this goes far beyond every level; I was expecting a lot from your cover and I have to say, the result overwhelmed any expectations I had, really really big congrats to you for giving us such a fine rendition of this masterpiece. For the next song I'd suggest The Four Horsemen, the bass is clearly audible throughout the whole song and it makes a wonderful tune on its own possibly even more exciting and awesome to listen to. FUCK YEAH!

I don't think it's 100% accurate, but the way you play it seems pretty close to being accurate by my ear... it's certainly a lot closer than the way I've seen anyone else play it. I'm a life-long Metallica fan, but I've always been disappointed by Metallica's tendency to bury the bass in the mix... so it's nice to see someone who has actually put the effort into trying to figure out Cliff's actual bass line to Call of Ktulu.
@danzemacabre8899 Жыл бұрын

I thought share my tip. Cello-type swells with the tone knob sound extra dramatic if you play octaves (in particular STRUCK) rather than plucked. I am not saying this way is wrong though. Though more likely than not played by Cliffy! I think this is how the Damage inc intro was done (albeit with a reversed on a seperate track) but with very particular reverb which my synthy dabblings suspect is Calf line or such.
