How do you get your toms sounding so good?

Thanks man... Each tom is only 1" less deep than the diameter. IE, 12x11 / 13x14, and they are 8 PLY Maple. They naturally have a massive and low tone anyway. Heads are loose, but are still tuned with a Tunebot. EQ is from a Arturia TridA.
