Jakob Winter Word. it was in 94. And James has admitted that he used to be very closed minded about a lot of bands in the late 80s and 90s and he harshly criticized them. As he got older he began appreciating the fact those bands admired his and learned from him. And you right being around Jerry and hanging with him says a lot. Says it's past them, so I agree with you. Why are people holding grudges for other people? lol.

I have lived and breathed classic Metallica for what 30 years now, and now I am digging the new stuff. Jerry wrote most of Alice's Music, even today he does. Jerry is the soul of Alice In Chains, you may disagree with me but it's cold hard fact. Jerry wrote most of the Music while Layne wrote most lyrics but Jerry has a beautiful voice to harmonize, I still think Jerry is the master since he is the soul of Alice.

Funny true story...At my wedding in 2005 my wife and I were supposed to do our first dance. It was supposed to be an Eric Clapton song. It started to play and then bllurrrp Nothing Else Matters from S and M came on. I thought my wife had played a joke on me and she thought I'd payed the DJ to do it. I'm a huge Metallica fan and anyone who knows me knows it. My family kept asking me if that was on purpose. The DJ didn't know what happend and to this day we still don'tk know.
