Just started watching your videos after coming here from the Marshall Remodel channel. This is a great design. I love it when one tool works for multiple jobs.

I bought a metal tech bakers unit last spring and cut it down and essentially made it into this; and I just found this video today. Cool

Don't know if this is normal, but the frame has areas where the enamel is chipped off from banging together. A lot of tie wraps attaching parts to each other. Seemed to be partly assembled, which tells me Home Hardware sent me something that was returned...

I got the same. Chips and missing paint or paint rubbed off yellow onto the grey parts. Box was trashed and looked like a return. Had to use a rubber mallet and at one point my hi lift jack to take the upper ladder/rungs off. I will say its an acceptable product and Im putting it to use but I do think I got a refurb of a better product

I got this and was immediately disappointed. It looked like it was tossed off a moving train .Inside the trashed box I found chips of missing paint or paint rubbed off yellow onto the grey parts. Box was trashed and looked like a return. Had to use a rubber mallet and at one point my hi lift jack to take the upper ladder/rungs off. I think I got a refurb of a better product

Cool.can they be grounded for electric ⚡️ work?
@METALTECHscaffolding2 жыл бұрын
This scaffolding is made of steel, it conducts electricity. We do not recommend grounding. On the other hand, you can use our Speedy fiberglass scaffolding, it is not conductive and it is made to work in an environment where the risks related to electricity are common.

Does anyone know which brands of miter saws are compatible with the clamps? Also, will the clamps secure any job site table saws?
@METALTECHscaffolding2 жыл бұрын
The ScaffoldBench 4-in-1 Baker was designed with bolt patterns in mind as to provide a wide range of compatibility. As such, to fit on the support arms the saw needs to have a rectangular bolt pattern that is between 2 ¼ - 15 5/8” in depth & 5 7/16” - 61 15/16” in width. Consider also that the support arms are designed to fit 5/16 carriage bolts (5/16-18 x 1 ½ carriage bolts are supplied).

@@METALTECHscaffolding so no particular table saws that you know of would fit natively but I could make an adapter plate or similar to match the specs you stated?
@METALTECHscaffolding2 жыл бұрын
@@mikecoughlin4128 Exactly. Note that Metaltech is not liable for any add-ons not made & sold under the Metaltech brand. Furthermore, any & all modifications done to the scaffold & /or to its components void the guarantee.

We just took 2 boxes of scaffolding back yesterday to Northern Tool, we needed to replace a 2 story foyer light and it was so wobbly on the first level, that my husband said there’s no way he’s getting on top of it to add a second level. My husband is 6’4, does everything around our house, climbs ladders and walks on the roof of our house...so when he experienced the wobbly effect...we took it back....what is the remedy to this?? Help!
@METALTECHscaffolding5 жыл бұрын
Hello, it is normal that the scaffolding you bought at NTE have a slight "wobble" effect when you step on, but nothing to scare someone, I imagine you followed the assembly manual and applied all the locking devices. Can't help more without seeing a picture or video of the two-story tower.

Where are the instructions on how to stack these ? Also, why does it come With a Bunch of extra junk when you order a multi pack? Why not include the outriggers etc instead of the second miter saw set up. Very strange.
