Miko's voice was always so good and amazing, even when she was in Sakura Gakuin. Sakia's dance wow, and she is so tall now. Yume is just amazing. Yagi Miki did not disapear this time around. lol. But i do hope they could go with Babymetal arround the world as a openning group for them.

Since four people from Sakura Gakuin are participating, it can be considered a de facto revival of Sakura Gakuin. I was sad when Sakura Gakuin closed, so I'm very happy about its revival.

@@dischargedarrowgetback4322This could be a mix of Sakura Gakuin and Amuse Camp talents give this project’s fluid nature, as per the lore and what Koba’s said in PMC. Miko is not the only one who can sing, if you have seen the Amuse Camp video, it’s evident Miki and Yume are very good as well - there’s a video comparing Miko/Miki’s solos while in SG and Miki is as impressive as Miko. There’s also a video on Instagram of Yume’s sister video taping Yume singing which was also impressive. Plus there are at least 3/4 other girls who can sing as per the Amuse Camp video, like Naomi Claire, Miu Wada and Juna, Yume’s younger sister. Given the fluid state of this group, it’s possible that other elements could join as performers, later.

Great video, but how on earth did I miss this? First thoughts. One: Someone in the audience really likes ‘Yume-Chan’! Second: Comparisons with their elder sisters in babymetal are inevitable, I guess, but I feel METALVERSE are more than different enough to be successful in their own right. BM’s music felt like metal songs with J-Pop/Idol vocals and choreography added to it; METALVERSE feels like straight-up J-Pop/Idol with metal instrumentation. Track one is beautiful, and the singer’s voice is haunting. The choreography is spot-on-hypnotic-with the girls moving in perfect unison with each other. I think it would be hard to listen to an audio-only version without visualising their movements; however, just as I was lulled into a relaxed, meditative state, the epic break-down kicked in! I’ll admit it caught me by surprise, but somehow it felt right and not out of place. Track two is fun and catchy. It is similar to the first track in that it seems like a Latin-themed pop song (with some random Italian words) until the insanely heavy guitar parts start. It’s a real earworm, that’s for sure! Track three is basically a metal swing song, complete with the girls performing the Charleston dance to it. It’s bonkers, but it works for some reason. Once again, the girls are incredibly in sync with each other and fun to watch. I have to make a special mention of the singer, as her vocals are absolutely superb, as are her vocals, her dancing, and her command of the stage, especially as she seems young too. She is very pretty too, and If such a thing is possible, she’s almost too pretty. Her performance is quite sensual, which I was not expecting (given they are a BM sister act) and shows that MV are going to have a slightly more adult cool image and carve out their own niche in the music world. Oh, and I’m assuming the backing band is the Western Kami Band? Damn, the drummer is good, and it shows in this video just how versatile he is, switching from extreme metal to Latin and then swing without any trouble. Anyway, I definitely need to see more, and hopefully some music will be available soon. A question for fans on here: who are the five girls, and are they ex-SG girls, as I suspect?

Yeah, they are great! The choreography is just wondrous! I agree with you, I just did not feel like the second was as great as the others... But overall, I as a recently new fan of BabyMetal wait anxiously for those girls show their goods! I just didn't get one point of your, you said that the vocalist moves were "sensual", could you elaborate more? (No cancelations intended in this question).

@@ewertonsilva8780 By ‘sensual’ I was referring to the little mannerisms: stroking her fingertips along her chin, winking, or poking her tongue out, at the camera, slowly moving her hand down her body etc. No disrespect to her in any way. I was just a little surprised, that’s all. It was a more ‘grown-up’ performance than their big sisters in BM. Hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

IMO, it's great what the producers are doing here. Instead of going full-formula (BabyMetal-formula), they're really experimenting with the girls. So, the producers are basically refuting that old logic "midia sees BabyMetal sells, midia creates more BabyMetal-like bands, by doing so, midia hurts Metal genre"; those girls and Babymetal only are alike on the clothing, and the instrumentation, besides that it's _in a away_ new.

I see them as more similar (in terms of their musical style) to Diablo Swing Orchestra than to Babymetal; especially with the last song, if you have listened to DSO, you will have heard it, if not, when you listen to DSO after listening to this song (the last one), you will see it more clearly. I love Babymetal, I love Diablo Swing Orchestra, if Metalverse will be like these songs, I will surely love Metalverse.
