1963 Riviera ProTouring full build #10. Acid dip, fuel & brake line fabrication. MetalWorks

We sent the Riviera's body to acid dip for paint removal and Jamison got busy TIG welding engine and body mounts. Jamison bent up the brake and fuel lines and ran them through the Art Morrison chassis. Lastly the LS7 engine and transmission were mocked up in the chassis.

I guess I'll have to make one. I just take a flap wheel and go around the edges until the skin "pops" off. Then grind, chisel, or sand off the remaining strip from the backside. To replace after all the rust is fixed, I like to use panel bond. Clamp it into place until it sets, then beat the edges over and seam seal them. More rust resistant than replicating factory spot welds.

I did a total recondition on a '71 Karmann Ghia, which I can call it a car. That chassis is for a Sherman tank, most likely 😁

What a great foundation to start with. Much better than my pieces of crap. However, 4l60e for 600hp? I know built 4l60e's can handle it, but a stock 4l80e can handle it also.
