What I find amazing is that there are enough people building cars every year to keep such a business alive for all these years and that they manage to do all this RnD and investments and still manage to make a living for themselves and employees.

It's amazing, isn't it? The passion and dedication of car builders keep the industry thriving, and we're honored to be part of it.

I knew Art back in the early 80's when he had a small shop near mine on 54th near the Poodle Dog Restaurant. I remember going in one day to have him make something for me and he was all excited because he had just gotten an air nibbler for cutting sheet metal- he's come a long way since those days.

What a cool story! It's amazing to see how far things have come since those early days. I can almost bet we still have that air nibbler lying around in the shop somewhere. Thanks for sharing your memory with us!

Chip's driven a few rides with an AME frame underneath 'em, always great to have legends on your side! We're glad you enjoyed the tour and got a glimpse into our process.

Awesome. Quite inspiring. Is there a video/documentary on how you began? I'd love to watch that one.
@ArtMorrisonEnterprises4 ай бұрын
We don't have a full documentary yet, but it's absolutely a great idea. We are just getting our KZbin channel off the ground, but we've got to compete with all these awesome videos MetalWorks keeps putting out! We'd love to get Art on camera and talk with him about the early days-I think a lot of people would really enjoy that. Stay tuned, and we’ll see what we can make happen!

putting a holes in frame for the pipes is not a good idea it causes a weak point on the frame I think you need to crash test your frame

I envy American custom culture and cool customs!! There are many car models that deserve custom, and There are many original custom cars such as street rods. Japan is full of childish cars and customs.

We love hearing that! American custom culture is all about creativity and craftsmanship, and seeing it appreciated worldwide is wonderful.
