The Fergie is mechanically perfect, I left it oily rag condition as i liked the patina. If you look back in my videos you can see when i dragged it out a hedge.

You can also weld a bracket on the top of the saw bench two flat plates with a hole in each to take the standard top link and use it to adjust your belt tight when cutting wood with the bench to and lifting up tje bench for transport around used them since about twelve years old no dramas at all

You need the belt pulley with the attachment on to hook up that saw bench there is a adjustment on a bolt goes into a plate bolted on the pully with a quick hitch pin you could make all that up fairly easy to make it work ok

I did get the PTO pulley on the day as well. This has a small bracket on which i think your refering too.

​@@MetamorphicWonders that bit that was sticking up on the front of the bench has the bolt through the two holes and then goes to the bracket on the belt pulley it helps to support the front of the bench it is similar to a turn buckle it could be a turn buckle used if stuck if you put a email on can sent photos mine has the top link in two flat plate welded to some steel on the bench

Thats good information thanks , i will have a look and see if i can figure it out. The pulley PTO is siezed and needs freeing first.

@@MetamorphicWonders yes pull the pully apart and clean it just be very careful they made out some sort of cast and can be broken easily they use gear oil in them there is bearing in there that be rusted up so you may need to replace them if can not get them free to spin take the plug out and fill it with bit desiel for a bit ok

The only major problem is the four bolts that bolt onto the tractor on the PTO .. the two bottom ones have literally oxodised and are gone from the pulley housing. I only have two top ones. I will have to see of i can bridge it with a couple of heavy washers.
