karissa! as a very emotional(? might change this word choice) person i try to find things to keep me “in check”, things that won’t make me be destructive to myself or other people around me. and poetry is one of those things. and your poetry quite literally soothes me. i love it!

i’ll remember this always. as peaceful and dazzling as a holographic dove, she single-handedly infused amber into a frozen-over los angeles that night… a reoccurrence of springtime wishes like wind chimes through fall air. she spoke melting words. ribbons and dreamsicle words topped with fractals and sprinkles. a goddess doing what she does best! creating! forging, no less! thank you for sharing your transformation of your feelings, your philosophy, and of your soul. 🤍🚀 the books i told you you’d love are the weetzie bat series! weetzie is a punk ballerina from shangri L.A with a passion for pit-moshing, roller skating through venice, burritos at oki-dogs, and hand-sewing sequined and paint-splattered outfits. the books are about adventuring though hollywood with her secret agent lover man and her slinkster dog. magic ensues. she is YOU! the song daffodil by jamie xx reminds me a lot of your metamorphosis. a warm, dreamy flow. flow on 🌊

i’m not karissa but i think my experience could help you a little! i got a classic RWS deck, watched a few brief youtube videos explaining how tarot works, fool’s journey, history etc, and practice! look up definition of each card, trust your intuition, don’t rush, observe how others interpret (readings on youtube or reddit). and when you start going, you will form your own understanding and see what aspects of tarot you want to learn more about!
