There was even this bit in the Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader novel when the clones were finally happy to see Vader with some armor, because they never understood why Vader was running around with Jedi robes earlier on.

Fun fact: Its said that in cannon, that bly said to check to see if she was dead, wanting to end her misery in the most quickest and painless way possible. He basically showed the most mercy out of possibly any other clone during order 66.

I think the reason for that though is we now have a comic series that directly follows Vader, but in the EU I don’t think Vader got anywhere near as long of a solo story as we are getting now. It was more like he had parts of stories focused on him but not entirely focused on him like we have now. Unfortunately the same arguement can be made in reverse for several other Characters, Luke Skywalker was 100000X stronger in the EU than he was in the sequels... and they took away his Wife and Son!!! Boba Fett also had way more badass of a story in Legends. I’m really really hoping Book of Boba Fett respects his legends stories. Especially because the mandalorian respected Jangos backstory in the EU comics.

@The Weavile I used to think I hated all Disney canon bc I grew up reading all the comics and novels in the EU, and was gutted when they were all ignored and a reboot happened. But I’m starting to think I just don’t like certain writers. I love anything that Favreau/ Filoni have done. Filoni should have taken over after George. I loved the Clone wars show when it was initially coming out, and I never thought Ahsoka was annoying in the early seasons (I was really young then). It just seems like certain characters were handled better to certain peoples taste in canon vs Legends. I’m SO into Bad Batch while also being a Diehard EU fan. The reveal that Omega has original Jango DNA just like Boba was such a bombshell!!!! I really hope the theory that the world between worlds will be used in the Ahsoka show to explain that there are multiple timelines. Call me crazy but I really want the old timeline to be continued. The Darth Bane trilogy ends with the setup for a sequel story and I know I’m not alone in dying to know what happens with Darth Zannah and Darth Cognus. The author has even said on Twitter he would continue but he needs permission from Disney obviously. I’m also very looking forward to Mando season 3, and book of boba Fett. I’d spend money to see both timelines, I’m sure others would too

So by Season 7 and Bad Batch logic, Bly’s hit to the head in Bioweapon and the Fallen Jedi would render his inhibitor chip would be defective.

Rex was way more indepentend and in a deep friendship with Ashoka and even he could only keep it together a few seconds and the bad batch is so geneticaly mutated the chips could not work at full capacity given that it took so long for Wreckers to activate as his mutation moste likely did littler to his brain second only to Crosshair. Hunter and Techs mutation would moste likely change the brain way more up (in hunters case because if he would recieve the amount of information from his advanced senses on a normal brain it would moste likely make him unable to do anything thanks to information overload and Techs extreme inteligence also makes it likely that his brain works different) Echo is more Machine then man at this point and given the heavy argumentions to his head we don´t even know how much of it is still requiert to even function.

Were there any traitorous thoughts. Maybe. But they were glad they had their helmets on, for none could bare to look her in her eyes after it was done. Bly. Felt pride at having completed his mission, but he felt something hollow and empty inside, he felt an uncomfortable anxiety that froze him in place for a few seconds like of the world stood still. The sudden com noise snapped him out of this trance and Bly went on about his orders. Never again did he looked back to that day. All feelings and thoughts he had about her were now gone in that instant. Good soldiers follow orders.

That was a spectacular vid. You're. Research and execution of the facts are wonderful..i never knw CC Bly and Master Secura had such close ties.especially with their views on attachments. However ive read a couple different stories about Quinlan Voss.After reading Dark Disciple, im a bit confused with Asajj and Voss when theyre on Christophsis where Ventris is killed by Dooku but the killing strike was meant for Quinlan. Being that Dark Disciple is Canon Quinlan Voss has been redeemed fully by the Jedi counsel and yet alot consider him a Dark Jedi? Idk 😂 pre 2012 EU SW is so amazing.they have so much source material.
