Something to note. Even while mashing or holding b for sonic blade, the game will prioritize going back to stage for the third hit.

No I don't think it does. If that was the case some people wouldn't SD as much. Mine has never prioritized stage on thrid hit unless the opponent is near the edge.

Recover or mix up, move is too slow for neutral purpose and it has a lot of landing lag.

It’s a good move in neutral as a burst option if your opponent is just Empty hopping or dashing back and forth

Yeah he’s a whiff punisher. If you run up and swing first in a lot of cases you will get reversed. Stick to nair fair and retreating bair. Tilts are too unsafe to just throw out

I’m struggling to fast fall his forwards air, when I try to do it to he hits his opponents in the upper portion so I just end up using the regular short hop forwards air. Any tips for fixing this?

I practiced it by fast falling nairs then I just kinda got the hang of it by doing the same motion with fair

There really isnt a definitely control scheme for Sora. Its not the case like Bayonetta where having a should button be jump helps with her double Witch Twist or in my case, have a shoulder button be attack for inputting my command inputs for Terry, Ryu, Ken and Kazuya as im used to that from PlayStation

Correction: Sora has below average air speed. He has above average air acceleration. He is slow in the air making him easy to chase down and hard for him to chase others down, but his fast air acceleration makes it easier for him to microspace areal attacks. Also, while it is true that his forward tilt combo has less knock than the single hit, it kills at exactly the same percent because of the extra damage it does. The single hit forward tilt is not a "better" kill option. It kills exactly as well.

I want to play sora, watching some vids to learn, much appreciated! I'm having this one issue and I'm not sure what it is I'll have moments where I'm practicing combing, learning the timing and all that good stuff when I run into a scenario where I try to combo unto the up special and sometimes I miss(which is to be expected and all) and I'm going off stage, so I'll use the side special to recover but it acts as if I had used it already and I just SD. Can anyone tell me what is going wrong?

Perhaps you take to much time to use side b you have a frame window to act after up B after that window is done your free falling
