Intel GPUs look promising that's for sure, but I still wouldn't touch one for a serious gaming or work build for at least another generation or two. Let them work out all the major kinks and bumps that they probably ran into with these models, and as long as they can keep their prices somewhat competitive with AMD and Nvidia I see no reason why we can't have another major supplier in the market to drive costs to consumers down. More competition is always better for prices in the long run and it keeps companies honest or they lose massive market share quickly.

Are major kinks are gone I have a770 and it was pretty decent Blender worked Games worked even dx9 10 11 12 No game breaking bugs And everything that slightly botherd me is gone with battlemage there is not much to improve with battlemage Other than this gpu really really like being paired with good CPU Recommend cpu would be 7500f or higher or something from intel about the same level It is great Honestly with battlemage there isn't as much to fix besides linux drivers

The kinks are gone 😂 oh my goodness people keep lying for Intel. Their MSRP is a lie, their drivers still sucks! Some reviewers couldn't even benchmark a few games due to driver issues. Also, the latest findings on the new B series is alarming. You essentially need a high end setup for Battlemage to even be decent. Intel is a joke. Their CPUs have been trash for years. Cost too much, suck way too much power and their GPUs are trash

@@andrewsolis2988 MSRP is not a lie it's just out of stock and some people bought it for 250$ if you couldn't too bad Drivers are not bad I have an older arc card and you wouldn't notice that is an arc card CPU doesn't need to be high end usually 7600x or 7500f would do anything other It will bottleneck no matter if it's AMD or Nvidia yes Intel performance with CPU doesn't scale too well but it's probably temporary because my arc card doesn't have this problem I wouldn't call 7500f high end The money you save on GPU You could upgrade for 7500f no problem RTX 4060 and Ryzen 5600x < b580 at 250$ and 7500f RTX 4060 300$ + 120$ Ryzen 5600x B580 250$ + 170$ Ryzen 7500f In this configuration battlemage would always win

People are just supposed to be OK with issues with Battlemage too? What is it going to take...another 2 years to iron out? Obviously you haven't seen the new testing data from reviewers 🤣 you literally need a high end system for Arc to be good. Also Nvidia price to performance sucks too. I can list 4 AMD GPUs that are currently around the same price that take the Intel card to the whipping shed without needing a high end system

@@andrewsolis2988 battlemage is improvement over arc in architecture department and no one really complained at the drivers at first I don't know what major issues are there Besides the CPU problem and Linux drivers For me it's not a big breaker because on 7500f performance drop is minimal And most games work Like 2 games don't work I saw one which didn't work because it just saw arc GPU because it was an old game and thought it was integrated graphics But I think DX to Vulcan fixed most game related issues Or just making GPU identify as different card Should fix everything

i was almost set on buying the b580 graphics card over buying anything from Nvidia but as it is at the moment its a big struggle to get your hands on one because of the incredible value it gives for performance comparing to that of the 4060ti. but since i could not find a b580 anywhere and being as impatient as I am with wanting to upgrade my technology i managed to snag a decent deal on a MSI tri fan 4060ti 8Gb for 350 pounds which is still a very good card, just doesnt have the value b580 gives but overall i do not regret buying the card.

5:19 that isn't correct, if you see nvidia it drops down to around 22-25 fps just like the intel card so they are the same. Nvidia didnt manage to get 30 fps. Nvidia isn't necessarily the ray tracing "king" or "god" in this comparision.

Cyberpunk 2077 is very good comparison. BUT!!!! Yes there is a BUT!! Nvidia card is already at it max performance from the box leaving very very small overclocking option of 1-3% performance boost. Compare that to INTEL ARC B580 that can be pushed from 2850 MHz to 3200 MHz giving you cool 10% performance boost. And if you would test with Arrow Lake and high speed CUDIMM the performance goes up with matching architecture. Nvidia works better on AMD platform. So potentially +20% add to the performance is a very real goal. And we are only on launch drivers and I predict the performance will go up a lot while Nvidia and AMD have lot less optimising left on the table. Killer card and for sure 4060ti is going to be left in the dust. Next stop 4070. Lets see in 6 months time where we are. Might be close to 4070.

There is no B580 with 24GB. Intel will be making true pro card using the same chip used in B580. They LOOK nice but I will still not buy them. In all absolute honesty, I'd rather go with an AMD graphics card right about now. I do like to play OLDER games and I did search a lot more benchmarks(considering I buy midrange gpus), I was not happy with intel's performance, esspecially with games I play.
