Royal Summoner does have one skill that provides unmatched utility - Summon Harvest God. It revives any Ko'd party members before fully healing the whole party. Without that skill, if a party member goes down, you'd have to spend one turn reviving them, another turn healing the rest of the party, and youd have to do it with 1 less press turn than normal. One downed party member can easily spiral into a failed fight. With Summon Harvest God, the whole party is back at full health in 1 turn. For a lot of the fights in endgame you can just use items to heal, but for the really hard ones, like the poison dragon and the final boss, Summon Harvest God is a godsend.

I like to add that she can inflict almost all magic weakness. She’s only missing wind, but you can inherit wind from Soul Hacker(which is even required to unlock this class).

For my play style I had royal summoner but I never utilized it, I personally preferred mitigating the boss damage and cheesing by using faker's rougery, then reducing the enemies turns with holy knight's guard. I will say the mages helped make the ending fights easier but those trial dragons especially the poison one, it took mc spamming royal sword with charge to take down, where everyone else's damage for me was comparatively miniscule

1 Prince 2 Warrior/berserker 3 thief 100% i skipped the Turn from the endboss almost every time because he dodged 4 Masked dancer prefer her as support though and applying fire weakness basicly for free is nice aswell 5 royal summoner because of the Switch in Potential to raise everyone and ofcourse as the magic dps 6 knight idk but for me knight really fell off in the endgame cause i was ending the fights turn 1 or turn 2 at most because of the fact you can get way to many actions in your turn Faker skill heros cry and there items aswell that give you turn Crystals soo yeah really had no reason for knight at all

I just finished unlocking and mastering the Royal Archetypes. All of them are incredible.

Yup! Like I said, theyre all good. Its just that most people don't wanna farm and then might not have the resources to unlock all of them. So its just a matter of "which one to invest in first".

@@acwano I unlocked Royal Summoner first. Because Eupha was my last max level follower, so I wanted her to be my first Royal Archetype awakening.

I know the prince is pretty obvious as the mc Archetype but the interesting thing is that there are 2 solid tank options to run. You can either run the dodge tank or the normal tank. Honestly I might be leaning towards Royal Thief since dodging effects almighty. Hell I can use both since the prince is more than strong enough as a damage dealer. Honestly I wish there were more royal archetypes. Imagine a royal mage with access to severe single target skills for every element besides almighty and the physicals as well as a passive that benefits the user when they hit a weakness.

Yup, thats exactly why the 2 tanks are on the same level of priority. They might make more royal archetypes for the dlc. Im hoping for at least 1

​​​@@acwanoAfter fully watching the video I might run utilitarian manual royal Berserker instead of strohl. A better single target Dekaja that deals almighty damage and removes repel and charge buffs costing 1 turn might be insane support though I will miss out on hassou tobi.

Against late game bosses eupha and Junah work great together because Junah can give the boss weaknesses for eupha to capitalize on.

Hulkenberg's omni protection made everything a breeze. I beat the final boss by just spamming it + Final Sire with accessories that reduced turn cost and mp cost.

Yeah I was also a royal knight abuser😂. I understand why some people prefer dodge tank heismay but I looove playing a tanky WALL who also protects my team.

I would put Heismay in Hulkenberg’s place or at the same rank as her. There is an accessory that mimics this, but removing all press turns just from Heismay dodging something is amazing.

Yeah I think both are just as good. I think dodge tank Heismay is better actually. its just that the upgrade u get from ninja to royal thief is not only more expensive but also less impactful than paladin to royal knight. Basically what i mean is, royal thief is broken, but ninja can do the same thing with the dodger ring. But again, theyre very close in terms of priority. To each their own.

unless you really need a specific accessory on heismay, i think ninja gives him everything you need for dodge tanking with dodger ring, you can pretty much make anyone a dodge tank by mastering ninja on them and equipping dodger ring (i actually did this on eupha who inherited ninja stuff on royal summoner for the fully powered final boss)

Royal thief is the best, the final bosses just miss a loose all their turns. It happened to me 3 times in the same battle!

Did the farm method in the disgraced ruins to level up all of my guys current archetypes needed to get to the royal archetype. I just need MAG now. I love Basilio. Charge plus a commanders formations moves to buff attack even further...jesus christ. Seeing him do like 5000+ damage to someone even when he was in the low 60's level wise was just INSANE and royal berserker looks broken as all hell.

I’m on my second play through for the trophy from the red dragon. I’m so pissed that I have level up to 70 or 80 again just to fight that boss. I’m just so glad that I maxed out every archetype even royal for every character on my first play through. 🙄

I cannot help but wonder what would happen if Prince inherited Third Eye and that accessory with fully boosted Agility... with Heismay's Royal Thief on top of it. That's like having 2 busted Heismays.

Basilio outclasses Strohl late game. I had both at max level with best in slot gear and Basilio just deals much more damage with Wanton Destruction

Agreed. I did say that the royal berserker is stronger and OP, Its just that the royal warrior is so cheap to get since we've been playing strohl all game, might as well get it. thats why its high on the list

Royal berserker is the best & In my opinion the devs should remove the requirements of other arch to unlock royal because of lack of time for me its not enough time to unlock all the arch with the virtues

Probably Heismay because dodging has higher odds than hulkens repel. So you will end the enemy turn more often if you have that charm equiped (the one that makes dodging op).

Heismay dodge tank is so busted in end game that even the dragons were a joke. Hulkenberg, while being a valuable asset for most of the game, falls off hard as a tank in the last part of the game.😊

I dont think she falls off that much, she carried my ass against the dragons and especially the elegy of the soul. Its just that dodge tank heismay is broken af lol.

Royal warrior unfortunately will never be able to use his noble passive just from the fact that its a warrior and they dealt too much damage.. it received this game's most busted weapon, beloved greatsword while able to use Utilitarian manual (-1 press turn cost synth) significantly increasing the amount of dps you can do per turn. This game pushing me to do mono-lineage, its boring ik, but its saying something cuz it is extremely broken when every fight leads to unscathed victory.

Yeah the game really wants you to play the same archetype more than once in your party, Im personally not a big fan so I don't do that even it means more damage. Its a singleplayer PVE game, I value fun above all. I might try it in my new games+ run just for fun tho.

i personally didnt think royal knight was worth it as i valued the paladin's ability to inflict weaknesses via syntheses that can be repeatedly chained which was my main source of damage on the really hard bosses, i inherited magic counter to get the same effect as omnicounter and while the royal's final passive is definitely good i just wasnt using proclamation enough to justify the investment for me in the late game

Yeah the paladin has better synthesis skills ngl. its just that omnicounter and omnigard can be pretty clutch. omnicounter saves u a inheritable skill slot, since u had to inherit counter magic on paladin.

You probably havent reached follower rank 8 with one of the party members. If you did, check in the other party member's archetype trees, they should be in the same spot as the prince for the MC (like shown in the vid)
