i really love the twist on personas in this game, where it is just classes instead of a monster with skill on it. it makes them more important than just fodder to be combined with or discared.

What I love the most story wise so far in this is just how well the establish Louise as both a villain and a motivation for the heroes. The opening scene perfectly sets up both how ruthless he is in his goals and how quick he switches back to playing the innocent bystander that has no idea what's happened. I already hate this guy and wanna see him fail just because of how much damage he's already done to both the MC and to the world as a whole. Also I'm pretty sure this game's central theme is anxiety.

I have been enjoying the gameplay a lot. It’s challenging but fun after you play the game for a while. As for the story, with what little we got, I’m enjoying the cast and story greatly, mainly Strohl and Gallica.

One of my favorite Jrpgs of all time is Rogue Galaxy. The main menu theme hit me with the feeling of that game immediately. Especially excited for this after beating the demo

😁just finished the demo and I'm looking forward to the full release, but to be honest when I first heard about the game when atlus announced persona 5 tatica, I was already interested in getting the for the art style alone, and after seeing how creative they were with the other characters I even more hype for my collective edition of metaphor coming this month.

I'm very happy with the game and like how you don't simply attack an enemy in the world to initiate combat. There are even three different intros for each of the attack states: surprise and stun, ambush, and normal. The fact that the explicit human race in the game is called Elda and the monster like entities are called humans is very bizarre and interesting. Also, their names start with "homo" like they are scientific species. Lastly, the world in the protagonist's book seems to explicitly depict a romanticized version of our world. There is also the fact that you don't first enter the protagonist's name. You enter explicitly yourself and then you get to name the protagonist. Also, throwing it out there, I decided to name the protagonist Sephros. Why? It feels very fitting for some reason. It kinda reminds me heavily of Final Fantasy XVI. A very long demo that makes you crave for more. There is an emphasis of showing discrimination and corruption in a sincere manner. A kingdom thrown into ruin by betrayal and assassination. The brutality of conflicts is not underplayed. Magic being abused by civilization. I don't expect Metaphor to touch as dark of topics that Final Fantasy XVI did. However, I would not be surprised if it did anyway.

This demo did an excellent job at turning the bad first impression I got from the trailers, into a pre-order. I honestly didn't like the artstyle. "Another game with perfect anime characters in a flawed, gritty environment?" I thought. "So it's Persona but based in a fictional world... And 'Metaphor ReFantazio'? What kind of name is that? So pretentious!" I still think the name isn't very marketable, but that's besides the point. I got used to the artstyle within minutes, and I have nothing but praise for it now. The combat is very satisfying, involves more strategy than Persona, and the class system is really enjoyable so far. The character designs and plot are so bizarre, I love it. Also bonus points for mature characters.

My lord. My absolute lord. I legit wish the game was released already. That demo is good and I want to still throw a nice punch in the face of the first big countdown bad guy. But the limited days I had couldn't get me there🥲. At least reassuring thing is my save data is ready for my 35th-Atlus Digital Deluxe edition and I can hop right back to that spot. So then I can go play Persona 5 Royal or even Persona Q2 to warm up my butt whooping bad guy tactical mind. Yeah I want to throw a punch at him that bad with what he did to the civilians and his own men.

One of easiest games they’ve ever made. On the hardest difficulties you can actually do MORE damage than the easiest difficulties. Bad balancing across the board

Everyone’s so extra when it’s a company they love. Nobody will admit that this is not truly open world. There is no fresh ideas here and after hours and hours with the demo, I can honestly say…you all have rose colored glasses for Atlus’ new JRPG called persona 6 re-skintqzio’d
