It is not weird at all. Two of the primary characters are named after F1 drivers, many in Atlus and Sega are F1 fans, and the entire plot of Metaphor is a "race for the throne" but like F1 is a "race for the championship".

Why not just use the money to keep improving and adding to the game or working on more titles? That way we can get a complete game at launch and not one that will eventually come with overpriced expansions/DLCs. Altus started charging $70 for games as soon as they saw they could, and adding things like $30 DLC packs and $35 expansion passes to a $70 remake is downright vile. They've always been like this, but lately it’s gotten so much worse.

In pertinence to both of your rebuttals, I believe that if they can do these random collaborations, which are logically not going to be intriguing enough new people (7k-25k average views for "Metaphor," then they should lower the marketing budget by a lot; they're better off allocating it to more suitable areas of the game's life, such as game development and content, so that we, the players, can get a full game in one purchase and not a video of a millionaire F1 driver talking about his F1 car. I disagree with you, that stuff does have everything to do with marketing, since they are clearly placing marketing over the player. Less funds into marketing more funds into game content. In regards to the other comment, I understand that remakes are still difficult to make as much as a new game, and I was better off not even using the word remake. I apologize. However, I believe my point still stands that charging $70, then $30, then $35 regardless of what game is not okay, and this new game is already doing that as well, having a $100 version that's just $70 for the game and yet again $30 for clothes and BGMs that could have just been included, and there is also a chance for DLC as well, which will again be at least $30. Obviously, purchasing the rest of the stuff aside from the base game is optional end of the day, but it’s things (music & clothes) that could’ve been included, IMO, and not charged $30 for. That's half of God of War: Ragnarök for example, haha.

Fortnite is free. Not $60-70. They can charge for skins as much as they want. Also, again, I was just using GOW as an example of $30 for Atlus DLC clothes, and BGM can get you half of a full-priced $60 complete at launch game.
